Michael Moore Blasphemes God at Georgetown & Students Just Laugh!

How sad. The oldest Catholic university in America allows this leftist individual, Michael Moore, to speak on campus. Then, when he attacks the sacred honor of Our Lord Jesus Christ, calling him a homosexual, the audience which presumably includes many Catholic students and professors, just sits there and laughs. Can we even call this university Catholic anymore? Did Georgetown apologize for his comment? Did they demand some form of reparation from the speaker?

Pro-Homosexual 'Pride Week' (shame) at Georgetown

Once again, "Pride Week" rolled out its pro-homosexual agenda at Georgetown University, America's oldest Catholic university. Maybe it should be more aptly called "Shame Week."

Human Rights Campaign Invited to Georgetown University

Saint Ignatius, pray for us!

Georgetown University plans to host a pro-homosexual lecture on campus on Tuesday, February 1, in Copley Hall. The event is described like this:

"With Congress' recent repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, LGBTQ rights have expanded to greater lengths than ever before, and no organization has played a bigger role in this development than the Human Rights Campaign, America's largest lesbian & gay advocacy organization. Joe Solmonese, as President of the Human Rights Campaign, has helped to usher in a new era for the LGBTQ community, and the Georgetown University Lecture Fund, LGBTQ Resource Center, and Georgetown Pride welcome him for a lecture and Q&A on the future of the gay rights movement."

This event spells out the sad reality that on many Catholic campuses, especially at Georgetown, perennial Catholic morality is often rejected, and the immoral agenda of the homosexual movement is welcomed.

In fact, in 2003, TFP Student Action members were threatened with arrest for giving out literature which included passages from the Catechism of the Catholic Church against homosexual sin. The irony of the incident was incredible because they were using the designated "free speech" zone when it happened...

Filthy V-Monologues at Georgetown University

It is hard to imagine a production more degrading to woman than The V-Monologues by feminist Eve Ensler. However, despite its anti-Catholic message of indecency, Georgetown University is scheduled to host the play on February 4.

St. Ignatius must turn in his grave.

How many indecencies hide behind "free speech" to spread? Just because we have free speech doesn't make the V-Monologues good. The play is still bad and must be opposed.

Here's the mention on Georgetown's web site.

Georgetown Priest Fr. Joseph Palacios Promotes Anti-Family Agenda

Feature Story section: Metro Weekly magazine, Washington, DC newspaper

This interview in the WDC Metro Weekly magazine is one of the most shocking examples of Catholic dissent in recent times. Beware of wolves in priestly collars at Georgetown University.

What would St. Ignatius of Loyola have to say about this fiasco?

Georgetown Priest Leads Dissident Catholics for Equality

Georgetown Priest Launches Catholics for Equality | The Hoya

Fr. Joseph Palacios, S.J., adjunct professor of sociology at Georgetown University is one of the leaders of a new pro-homosexual lobby group called "Catholics for Equality," an arm of the Human Rights Campaign to sway Catholics away from fidelity to the Church. The word equality in this context means same-sex "marriage" or unnatural vice. It's oxymoronic for a Catholic priest to promote behavior that is opposed to the very teaching of the Church, but, alas, the times we are living are fraught with contradiction.
