Human Rights Campaign Invited to Georgetown University

Georgetown University plans to host a pro-homosexual lecture on campus on Tuesday, February 1, in Copley Hall. The event is described like this:

"With Congress' recent repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell, LGBTQ rights have expanded to greater lengths than ever before, and no organization has played a bigger role in this development than the Human Rights Campaign, America's largest lesbian & gay advocacy organization. Joe Solmonese, as President of the Human Rights Campaign, has helped to usher in a new era for the LGBTQ community, and the Georgetown University Lecture Fund, LGBTQ Resource Center, and Georgetown Pride welcome him for a lecture and Q&A on the future of the gay rights movement."

This event spells out the sad reality that on many Catholic campuses, especially at Georgetown, perennial Catholic morality is often rejected, and the immoral agenda of the homosexual movement is welcomed.

In fact, in 2003, TFP Student Action members were threatened with arrest for giving out literature which included passages from the Catechism of the Catholic Church against homosexual sin. The irony of the incident was incredible because they were using the designated "free speech" zone when it happened...
